Design & Web
The OHM Charity Fashion Show is a dance fashion show created by Western University students in order
to raise money and awareness for cancer research in a fun and enthusiastic way. This year's overall
theme was Garden Party! This theme was implemented in all forms of promotion, production, and execution.
The first step in the process was to establish an identity. For this, I collaborated with the show's
directors to create a unique logo and colour scheme to build upon.
As the Creative Executive, my partner and I worked with the social media team to create various
forms of promotion including Instagram and Snapchat stories, FaceBook banners, and a wordpress
website. We needed to ensure that on all platforms, the theme was consistent and clearly recognizable.
Below are some examples of social media posts that were used to advertise ticket sales and expand our audience.
As well, closer to the show, we implemented a countown on Instagram as a means to promote ticket sales and donations before
the year's productions would come to an end.
As well, during the model scenes of the fashion show, I created several different projection videos
to accompany the models as they walked. The videos, played to popular music hits, added to conveying
the theme to the audience and filled empty space on stage.
